Partnering with Believing Families
Teach Children to Think Biblically
In today's godless soceity where the norm is to lean to human intellect and reasoning, we ecourage our students to think Biblically.
Encourage Students to Live with Integrity
We believe in a standard of holiness as the Bible teaches and that Christianity is not a way of life but an experience that produces the life of Christ.
Glorify God in their Life Calling
We trust that the Lord will lead our students to pursue their God-given gifts to glorify Him.
MISSION & VISION
Meaningful Education
Presentations
Throughout the year, not only do students go on field trips but they also enjoy visiting speakers. In weekly chapel services, local ministry speak to students. Additionally, we host the local fire department for lessons on safety, as well as a traveling team from the county historical society. Another recent highlight for high school students was when various parents came in to speak to students about their personal career paths. With all these visiting speakers, we hope to demonstrate to students the interaction and relevance between classroom learning and the “real” world!
Library Time
It can be challenging to find books both entertaining and edifying in local libraries. Thanks to volunteers at BBCS, both elementary and high school students have access to well curated libraries! During library time, librarians read stories to the younger students before letting students search for books to check out for personal reading. The library is one of the school’s most special rooms, because each book inside can be a gateway to another world!
Hands on Learning
Textbooks are just the starting point for classroom instruction! To engage various learning styles, teachers regularly do hands-on demonstrations and projects in their classrooms. In every subject area, there are opportunities for hands-on work that make lessons both fun and memorable!
